I’m a super planner. AKA I’ve been done with my Christmas shopping since November 27th. Well, almost done.

How is this possible, you ask? Throughout the year I keep a list on my Wunderlist app of gift ideas for my family members and friends. Whenever they say “I’d love to have X”, I jot it down in my app. They totally forget about mentioning that item and I look like the ultimate gift giver because I’ve simply paid attention.

However, even with my attentive listening and planning ahead, there are some members of my family (cough, cough….Dad) that don’t ever mention anything they want.

So what do you get for that hard-to-buy-for loved one? Why not give them a gift that will last for years: a gift for their home! Family members or friends who moved in 2017 will especially appreciate a thoughtful gift for their new home. Check out my favorite gift ideas for some rooms in the home along with options for any budget!
