At my house, we have 1,528,230 DIY projects going on simultaneously. Well not really 1,528,230. But sometimes it feels like it.

We are currently working on a bathroom reno, updating the office, and transforming our popcorn ceilings to smooth ceilings in our foyer area. I have a billion more little projects that I want done as well: new privacy fence for our backyard, new sod for front and back yards, new landscaping, new lights in dining, laundry room, and hallways, install microwave above our stove, and the list goes on and on.

So my MASSIVE list of to-dos got me thinking: what are some easy, simple, and low-cost projects that could be completed in less than 1 weekend??? I hit Pinterest for some inspiration…

1) Farmhouse Coffee Table and End Tables

Most people have those reddish-orange pine coffee tables from the 90s. I love this transformation!

2) Accent Walls

Accent walls are a fun and easy way to create a focal point in any room! I want to do this in my own bedroom to add a pop of color!

3) Floating Kitchen Shelves

It is my goal in life to have floating shelves in my kitchen! I LOVE the way this looks and how light and airy it makes a kitchen feel. The only negative: I’d have to finally get matching dish sets.

What project ideas do you have for this upcoming year? I’d love to hear in the comments below! Happy DIYing, Greenville!
