I don’t know about y’all, but growing up we always had the same decorations for Christmas. Sure, there can be something comforting about having the same Nativity set, Christmas tree and ornaments, and stockings year after year, but there is also something to be said for mixing it up every once and a while. Changing out a few ornaments, adding a new piece to your mantle, and playing with new color schemes/styles can make this time of year all the more fun and exciting!
Whether you like a farmhouse Christmas, a classic white and gold Christmas, or a Christmas bursting with color, I hope that you’ll be able to find some inspiration among these photos!* What ideas will you incorporate this year?
Farmhouse
Okay y’all. I’m a big fan of Chip and JoJo and their show Fixer Upper and I am really sad that their show is about to come to its end! However, we can still keep Joanna Gaines’ vision alive in our hearts and homes this Christmas by incorporating some of this farmhouse decor.
Tobacco Baskets are very popular right now!

The Classic: White, Gold, and Silver
So I’m a BIG fan of the classic white, gold, and silver colors of Christmas. The twinkling gold lights and clean colors make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This year I’ve combined the classic with the farmhouse style and I am so excited to see the results!
These colors are so clean and timeless!
I love the mixture of ornament sizes! And how about that cute reindeer topper?!?
So simple, easy, and cute!
The Fun One!
So as much as I love the classic look of the white and gold, I have to say looking at these photos below got me pretty darn excited. I felt like a kid all over again! I definitely could see myself changing to this fun and bright decor as I have children in the future. I mean, come on, look how fun this decor is!
How cute! Pom poms on the mantel counting down the days to Christmas!

These are so darn cute and would be so simple to make!
Love, love, love how much energy this garland brings!
